FIRE SPOTTING CAMERA SYSTEM

Argos Fire Protection Ltd offer 2 F-Cam Fire Camera systems by Ciqurix, formally Spot Fire.

Able to work both inside and out, these camera systems offer a real alternative to traditional large area detection (beam detectors in warehouses etc.) as well as providing a totally new way to detect fire in external areas.

The F-Cam Fire Spotting Camera systems are ideal for use in Factories, Recycling Plants, Commercial Laundries, Transport Depots, Oil Refineries, Warehouses, Building Sites, Marinas, plus numerous other applications.  The F-Cam is now being specified by insurance companies for these types of risk – many in which fire detection has previously been impossible.

The F-Cam Fire Camera can detect a small flaming fire at up to 180 metres distance and the average detection time is 10 seconds, which is potentially significantly quicker than the response from traditional large area detection systems – especially where there are high ceilings.  Long before the smoke has reached the ceiling and formed a plume dense enough to trigger an optical beam detector, the F-Cam has raised the alarm – saving lives, saving property and saving money. It also provides large area coverage from a single point and can be set up to match the particular environment. 

The 2 types of F-CAM Systems

CORE

The Core system is its own standalone system which is compliant with BS5839-1. These 24v cameras are cabled in “FP” fire rated cable and are powered directly from their own dedicated control hub. They work on their own dedicated network and also come with 24 hours of standby battery time, in the event of a power failure.

FLEX

The Flex system is designed to be a supplementary system to your existing fire protection or system. It can also be interlinked into your current CCTV system. These 12v cameras are cabled in CAT 5/6 and can be installed into your existing network and powered by your normal PoE Switch.

F-CAM Solo

The FCam Solo FP is the CORE version of the popular FCam Solo flame detection camera. Designed to be used with a CORE Hub, it has punchdown cable termination and a cable entry gland suitable for "FP" fire resistant Cat 6 cable.

F-CAM X

An external 1 Megapixel bullet style camera, which has a detection distance of 180 meters with a 6mm 46 degree lens or 80 meters with a 4mm 65 degree lens. The camera is also IP 66 rated.

F-CAM XCR

An external bullet style camera made of 316L Low Carbon Stainless Steel. It has a detection distance of 180 meters with a 6mm 46 degree lens or 80 meters with a 4mm 65 degree lens. The camera is also IP 68 rated, making it ideal for harsh environments

F-CAM EX

An external bullet style camera which is designed to be fitted in Explosive Atmospheres (ATEX/IECEX) It has a detection distance of 180 meters with a 6mm 46 degree lens or 80 meters with a 4mm 65 degree lens.

With some simple floor plans, the system can be fully designed to suit your requirements.
